We will not allow citizens' lives to be lost through reckless and careless driving. It is simple, if you drink, don't drive," said the MP.Wainaina also called upon the other members of the public to avoid irresponsible drinking especially when in public places saying they could be hit by speeding vehicles or even be drugged in the drinking joints. The DCC joined and the MP and asked party and night 'kesha' organisers to be informing the police in advance to be provided with adequate security to avoid being ambushed by thugs, cases which he said are on the rise."Don't take your security and that of your guests for granted.
In the past few weeks, we have received cases of thugs ambushing people's events and that is why we want everybody to be extra cautious," area DCC added.
