More leaders have reacted to the recent deportation of Miguna Miguna back to Dubai.
Speaking during the Easter service, the head of the Anglican Church of Kenya has condemned the manner in which the matter was handled by the government.
Speaking at All Saints Cathedral on Good Friday, Archbishop Jackson ole Sapit stated that the government was wrong to defy court orders.
He said that Miguna should have been presented in court in order to resolve the matter according to the constitution.
He also took a swipe at the three senior State officials who defied court orders, saying the move is setting a poor precedence for other leaders.
Sapit further lauded the unity pact between NASA leader Raila Odinga and President Uhuru Kenyatta.
Miguna was deported to Dubai after failing present his Canadian passport for stamping at the airport.
In a statement from Dubai, Miguna said that he drugged by Kenyan authorities and taken to Dubai.
