Nyaribari Chache Constituency MP Richard Tong'i has re-affirmed to locals in the constituency that the last mile electricity connection programme will benefit more than 250 households.
Tong'i was speaking on Friday during the launch of the last mile electricity connectivity at Nyamemiso area.
"As we launch this project today, more than 250 households will benefit. We expect before 2017, several homes will have lights," he stated.
He argued that more households benefiting from the project will boost security and businesses in the region.
"Security in our homesteads will improve as well as business hours will now extend due to lights. Traders will be able to operate until late hours without any problem," he noted.
Tong'i urged locals to support Jubilee ahead of the 2017 polls.
