IEBC team could be barred from conducting any election in the country after t
hree voters moved to court seeking to stop the body from manning the fresh election.
The fresh elections will be held in the next 60 days.
Brian Asin and Ben Wanasakaami and Kevin O. Olwanga have argued that chairman Wafula Chebukati is guilty of misconduct.
According to the voters, IEBC commissioners and its CEO have fallen short of Chapter Six of the Constitution on leadership and integrity.
IEBC commissioners were named among the 10 respondents which include the Attorney General and IEBC.
They want the court to bar the team from supervising, overseeing elections in the country and in particular the repeat of the presidential elections 2017.
"A declaration that a person having been mismanaging the presidential election and in particular the 1st to 8th respondents shall not qualify to hold a public /state office."
They say, IEBC commissioners are exercising the authority assigned to them in a manner that is in violation with the purpose and objects of the Constitution.
