Speaking on 'Mazungumzo Waziwazi' on Radio Jambo on Saturday, Mwaura joined Ruto's allies in blaming Moi's son and Baringo Senator Gideon Moi for the DP's prevention from meeting the former head of state during his visit on Thursday.

He bashed Gideon for allegedly misleading the aging Moi, accusing him of wrongly isolating him from other politicians he deems unfriendly to him and his policies.

"Gideon should not treat his father like his personal property. He has every right to take care of him basing on his age but that should not culminate into using his influence to victimize others seeking to consult him," he said.

The Senator has further found himself in trouble with a section of political leaders allied to the DP led by Nandi Senator Samson Cherargei who have also placed him at the middle of the unfortunate happening.

Ruto who was accompanied by a few allies in the event was kept waiting for hours before leaving, as the ex-president who is still recovering from a recent knee surgery was having a session with his doctors.
