Public University lecturers and staff have issued a 7-days strike notice.University Academic Staff Union (UASU) and Kenya Universities Staff Union (KUSU) said if their 2013-2017 Collective Bargain Agreement is not implemented they will hit back with a strike.UASU and KUSU secretary generals Constantine Wasonga and Charles Mukhwaya respectively said the strike will involve all members of the union in 33 universities.
