Uhuru Kenyatta and William Ruto when they were declared winner in the August 8 elections by the IEBC, August 11, 2017.[Photo|PSCU]The Thirdway Alliance party leader Dr Ekuru Aukot has raised his fears, that the auditing of the results transmission for the presidential election, went wrong.Aukot who was among the eight presidential candidates in the just concluded August 8 general election, conceded defeat, after IEBC provisional results showed incumbent President Uhuru Kenyatta was ahead, with a big margin, followed by NASA's Raila Odinga.However, Aukot has acknowledged Nasa's statement on the presidential results, saying "something went fundamentally wrong" with the transmission exercise, and that an injustice happened.He slammed the electoral body, IEBC, saying only the truth about the whole exercise will set it free, and emphasised that Thirdway Alliance' "auditing of the result transmission, reveals a worrying trend."Through his Twitter account, Tuesday, Aukot further urged Kenyans to await a full report about auditing of the transmission exercise, by his party.In the election, IEBC declared Uhuru the winner with slightly above 8 million votes, against Raila's slightly above 6 million votes, results that the Opposition has disputed, saying they were shortchanged to favour Uhuru.
