A middle-aged man died on the spot and two other people got serious injuries on Sunday morning after the motorbike they were travelling in skid and rolled near Ulutya market along Kanyonyo-Kivaa road.
The accident was confirmed by Kangonde location chief Sebastian Mang'ee who said that the motorist was speeding before the accident.
Chief Mang'ee warned motorist against over speeding where he reminded them that carrying two passengers is overloading.
"Why would one over speed knowing very well you are carrying an insured pasaanger," wondered Mang'ee.
The two people who survived the accident were rushed to Matuu level four hospital and the body of the man who died was taken to Matuu median mortuary.
