It is not clear who the 'insult' was meant for.

The photo was taken Tuesday  after Kuria and other MPs were arraigned in court over allegedly making hateful remarks.

The said photo has led to Kenyans criticizing Kuria online with others expressing shock at the MP’s action.

Some Kenyans have even gone ahead to state that they think Moses Kuria has a problem with his morals

"I honestly think Moses Kuria has a problem with his morals. Who does this middle finger thing in court?" Chohi wa Ithabethi  said.

Others said Kuria needs prayers.

"This one needs prayers," Steph Wakesho said.

"I think either Kenyans don’t love their country, or some were too young ten years back to remember what happened, or we just want to burn Kenya down. How can people be supporting such leaders both from CORD and Jubilee?" said Don Afroman via facebook.

Kuria and the other seven MPs were taken to court to answer charges of making inflammatory remarks.

The legislators will remain in police custody until this Friday pending further investigations into remarks that they are said to have allegedly made.
