Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria has told Mt Kenya MPs supporting Deputy President William Ruto to be careful as there is a cartel not happy with their position.
Speaking in Kapseret constituency, Kuria shocked many when he confessed that all those leaders from Mt Kenya who are supporting Ruto have been receiving threats.
"Many of us you see here are receiving threats ove our position, but we want to be so clear that Uhuru and Ruto in 2013 agreed that it is Uhuru 10 years and Ruto 10 years," Kuria said.
Many of the Mt Kenya region MPs who have been vocal about Ruto's 2022 bid have become a target by an anti-Ruto faction that is reportedly holding night meetings to sabotage the DP.
"We want to tell you, whether you are a CS or PS that we are not afraid of you. Even if you send the youth to insult us on social media and malign our character, we shall remain behind Ruto," Kikuyu MP Kimani Ichung'wa said during a tour of the DP in Kiambu county.
