Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria has dared Amani National Congress Party Leader Musalia Mudavadi to join the Cord coalition.
Speaking during a church service, Kuria criticised Mudavadi for declaring he's ready to work with the Coalition for Reforms and Democracy (Cord).
The MP dismissed Mudavadi, saying he is not a threat to President Uhuru Kenyatta, as he does not boast of a massive following.
“What Musalia got in 2013 is just like 300,000 votes. Even if he was to give Cord all his votes, we will still beat them tenfold. We no longer need to campaign to win the 2017 general election,” said Kuria, as quoted by Standard Digital.
Last week, Mudavadi said he will be happy to work with Cord if they support his presidential bid in next year’s election.
Mudavadi was a key member of ODM in 2007 and was part of Pentagon, the top organ that formed the party, before he decided to vie for the top seat in the 2013 general elections.
The ANC part leader has insisted that his party will not fold to join Jubilee.
