Gatundu South MP has hit out at a group of men who roughed up former Nairobi Central Business District Association chair Timothy Muriuki.
Muriuki was ambushed at the Boulevard Hotel where he was having a press conference over the state of Nairobi.
A group of well-built men descended on him and roughed him up and took away his press statement.
Journalists came to his rescue as the goons threatened to throw him into the swimming pool.
Kuria said all those invoved will pay a 'heavy price'.
“Whoever did this to Timothy Muriuki will pay a heavy price. Make no mistake. End of civilisation as we know it,” Kuria posted on his social media account.
The attackers accused Muriuki of trying to paint Sonko in bad faith.
