During a trip to Kiambu on Thursday, opposition leader Raila Odinga was met with heckles.
The incident left opposition leaders accusing Moses Kuria of being behind the act.
However, the MP denied these allegations at a Mbele Iko Sawa campaign rally in Voi on Friday evening stating he was not even in the area when the event took place.
“Yesterday I was in Mombasa campaigning. They should stop associating me with their misfortunes,” he said as reported by the Daily Nation.
He criticized opposition leaders for affiliating him with the political malpractices they were shown by the supporters of Jubilee.
He further returned the question to Odinga for failing to speak out about similar treatment shown to President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto in Kisumu earlier in the week.
Kuria emphasized that Jubilee is a peace loving party which does not condone such chaos.
“Raila is free to campaign anywhere in all Jubilee strongholds but he should also tell his supporters to welcome Jubilee leaders when they go to seek votes in their zones,” he said. He went on to urge the National Super Alliance (Nasa) leader to emphasize peace in his home town before blaming other leaders.
