He however stated that he has forgiven Mr Kuria after the legislator came to his home and apologized to him.

Sang who alongside Deputy President William Ruto was earlier this week acquitted of the criminal charges leveled against him at the International Criminal Court (ICC).

“Off course Moses Kuria was among my fixers, but I have forgiven him. I am urging everyone who did the same to come out and tell the truth because I knew I was innocent,” said Sang when he was addressing the media in Nairobi.

Earlier last year, Kuria had claimed he procured at least five witnesses – whose identities he disclosed to the Directorate of Criminal Investigations on Tuesday – to give false testimony to the Kriegler and Waki Commissions after the disputed 2007 presidential elections that led to the violence that is now the subject of criminal cases at The Hague-based court.

He claimed the ICC relied on some of the evidence especially given to the Waki Commission, which recommended the ICC intervention if a local tribunal was not formed, and sparked Ruto 'fixing' claims that attracted the ICC's attention leading to yesterday's meeting.
