Gatundu South Member of Parliament Moses Kuria has told off critics questioning the amount of money that the Jubilee coalition will spend during the launch of the Jubilee Party.
In an interview with a local TV station on Wednesday, Kuria said the party has staunch party members who have contributed to the party's budget towards the party's mega launch on Saturday.
The criticism comes after the party got a fleet of branded cars and a big house at Pangani in Nairobi as its headquarters valued at hundreds of millions of shillings.
"People should not be questioning the source of the money that Jubilee has put towards its launch. The party has members who have put the party's development at heart and it is thus no ones business to question our budget. We have not stolen or taken anyone's money for the project," said Kuria.
Kuria also downplayed claims that ODM party is trying to get attention as it will be holding a parallel meeting in Mombasa to mark its 10th birthday.
He congratulated the party's move but asked ODM to respect Jubilee's move to merge with other parties in the country.
