Kuria who is the president's member of parliament on Sunday stated that just like all the other candidate in Jubilee he is not assured of Uhuru's vote.

The MP said that the newly-launched Jubilee Party will treat every candidate equally.

"Even though I am President Kenyatta's Member of Parliament in Gatundu South, I am not assured of his vote. Just like any other candidate, I will have to go to him and ask for his vote with the hope that he will agree to vote for me," said Kuria.

The legislator who was speaking in Kirinyaga on Sunday additionally confirmed that the newly formed party will employ the services of IEBC in conducting party nominations.

"Jubilee's nomination process will be handled by the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission something that signifies there will be no favoritism in the process," said Kuria.

He further added that he allows competition for any other candidate who wishes to unseat him during the next general election.
