Suna East MP Junet Mohammed had posted on social media after his release claiming that Uhuru and Ruto declined to pick calls from Moses Kuria and Ferdinard Waititu. Junet claimed despite the two attempting to solicit help from their party leaders, their calls went unanswered but were able to reach to CORD leader Raila odinga for help. But speaking during an interview with Citizen TV on Tuesday, Kuria said he did not at any time try to reach President Uhuru or Ruto for help.

"I did not try to reach Uhuru, Ruto or Duale for any help,"he said.

"I am a man and I dont have to involve them(Uhuru and Ruto) in my personal problems, I fight my battles and my problems should not be Jubliee's," he added.

Kuria was held in police custody for four days alongside Bahati MP Kimani Ngunjiri, Kabete MP Ferdinard Waititu and other Cord MPs for allegedly making inflammatory remarks. The eight were released on bond awaiting a hearing later next month.
