Kuria in a video posted on his official Facebook account said the only legacy Raila has in Kenya is that of drug peddling and abuse.

"When he [refering to Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho] was MP for Kisauni drug addicts in Mombasa County were 6,000," Kuria said.

"When he started the work of Mombasa Governor, bhang addicts were 24,000. Right now we have 50,000 bhang addicts in Mombasa. That's your legacy Mr Raila Odinga."

"Is that the legacy you want to pass to our children? That is the legacy you would want to leave when you become President."

Kuria said Mr Odinga has no capacity to transform Kenya.

He said the time he (Raila) has been in politics is long and he should, therefore, bow out.

There is currently, an ongoing verbal exchange between Jubilee and Cord politicians.

Governor Joho has consistently been verbally attacking Deputy President William Ruto over what he calls rampant corruption and theft in the national government.

On the hand, Parliament Speaker Aden Duale has vehemently been defending the Jubilee administration terming Cord corruption allegations as a ploy to mud-sling the government ahead of the 2017 polls.

Kuria becomes the latest Jubilee politician to join the long list of Jubilee politicians throwing verbal jabs at the Cord leadership.
