[Photo|Thika Town Today]Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria now says the bus that killed 37 people at Migaa in Nakuru county had been reported to NTSA.In his Facebook post, Kuria condemned the civil society for frustrating efforts for NTSA to introduce instant fines system to rogue drivers. On Monday, he said:"So the Salgaa bus had been reported to NTSA in September? In other countries like UAE, they use the instant fines to profile drivers, vehicles, owners and repeat offenders. In Kenya we have spent millions of shilings in deploying the technology. But that technology could not be used to profile the Salgaa bus. Reason? Some neaderthals from civil society went to court to stop the gazette notice that was to pave way for deployment of the instant fines technology. A judge gave ex parte orders halting the deployment. It is going to second month without a hearing yet the orders are still in place. Next time we should also ask civil society and the judiciary to also injunct death."
