Gatundu South Moses Kuria is engaged in a war of words with controversial lawyer Miguna Miguna.
This is after the Canadian-based barrister claimed that Kuria had expressed his hatred for ODM leader Raila Odinga and the Luo community during a meeting attended by Deputy President William Ruto in Kiambu county last week.
In a tweet, Miguna termed the MP a Kikuyu chauvinist and posted what Kuria allegedly said while at Githunguri.
"In 2017 everybody left us, it's only this man Ruto that stood with our President. In Kiambu we gave Uhuru 1.2 million votes, in 2022 we will give Ruto 1.6 million votes and give Raila 1 vote," said Moses Kuria.
"Only a dead Luo is dead good," - a Kikuyu chauvinist.
While Kuria did not refute that he said Raila would garner a single vote, he accused Miguna of lying that he talked ill against the Luo community.
"Why would you lie that I said a good Luo is only a dead one? Why lie blatantly? Is Canada that cold?" he posed.
In a rejoinder, Miguna insisted that Kuria hates Raila for he allegedly took him for a ride when he visited him at his offices and promised to devolve the handshake and support the Building Bridges initiative.
"You did. In March, you told Raila that you are 'backing him 100%' for his surrender and mythical bridges to nowhere. You lied to him. You were desperate for legitimacy for an election thief. In June, you are promising him 1 vote because you hate Luos, as you have always confessed," he said, reminding Kuria of a case he was charged for insulting the ODM leader.
The vocal Jubilee MP hit back: "Mr. Alien, Mr. Stateless I was acquitted. I am closer to Luos than you. I share nationality with them. How is Ontario Woud Nyando?"
