In a Facebook post on Friday, Kuria teased the three co-principals for having been kept in the dark about the meeting that took place at the President’s Harambee House office.

“Dear Kalonzo Musyoka, Moses Wetangula, and Musalia Mudavadi. I understand you are in the dark regarding the events that took place at Harambee House this morning. May I take this place to profusely apologise for the inadvertent oversight. Kindly let us meet at Sagret Hotel Milimani within the hour I put you in the loop. Later!” read Kuria’s post.

This comes after the trio in a statement on Friday afternoon confirmed that they learned about the Raila-Uhuru meeting through the media.

“While we have always advocated for dialogue, as co-principals of the NASA coalition, we were not privy to the discussions at Harambee House,” read the statement in part.

They added that they had scheduled a retreat on Monday next week where they shall ‘deliberate on the political developments’.

Uhuru on Friday held talks with his political rival Raila at Harambee House, Nairobi before addressing journalists.

In a joint statement, the two noted that they had resolved to unite Kenyans following the divisive August 8 general election.

They said it was time to put to an end the political differences that have divided more than four generations of Kenyans.
