Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria has threatened to go to court to seek orders for the recounting of presidential votes for the August 8 elections.
Kuria said he has given instructions to lawyer Harrison Kinyanjui to go to the Constitutional Court and file the matter for determination.
Confirming the move, Kinyanjui acknowledged that he spoke with Kuria and added that they are about to draft the case.
"As a voter, I am entitled to information about what is in those boxes. Let us all meet there," Kuria said on Saturday.
However, it is not clear if the court can grant Kuria's wishes since it is only the Supreme Court that can giver orders for a recount of presidential votes as stipulated in Article 163(3) (a) of the Constitution.
