Three people were killed during Cord demos in the Monday demos after police fired live bullets to disperse protesters in Kisumu and Siaya counties.

“I really wish more died. The shooting skills of our police is questionable .It is time Cord asks the four dead fools from Siaya and Kisumu to wake up and go home. If the cops are acting up lets end the morgue drama too,” ,” read a Facebook post said to belong to Kuria.

NCIC chairman Francis Kaparo said the commission will investigate the post and take appropriate action if it is found to be Kuria's.

“If we find out that it is Kuria who posted the content, he will be apprehended,” Kaparo said. “If it is not him, we will search for the person who posted the item and apprehend him or her”.

On his part, ODM chairman John Mbadi accused the Jubilee government of “killing Luos just like his father did”.

“Uhuru must stop killing the Luos. He should stop the profiling of our community. His father Jomo Kenyatta also killed our people in 1969. If the killings continue we will be left with no choice but to seek alternative means to protect ourselves,” he told the press.

The Suba MP said police officer were heavily deployed to areas inhabited by the Luo community, including Kibera, Kisumu, Migori, Homa Bay and Siaya.

Kenyans on social media reacted to Kuria’s post and condemned the sentiments.
