Gatundu South Member of Parliament, Moses Kuria has joined a list of leaders who have reacted to the Solai dam tragedy that left 48 people dead.
Through his Facebook account, Mr Kuria claimed that the tragedy was an act of negligence.
"The Solai tragedy was not an accident. It was simply an act of negligence on the side of the regulator, the Water Resource Management Authority (WARMA) and impunity by the owner Mr Patel," he said.
The outspoken Jubilee Legislator, called on Water Cabinet Secretary, Mr Simon Chelugui, to suspend the CEO of WARMA pending investigations into the matter.
"I call upon my fellow alumni of the University of Nairobi business school, Water CS Simon Chelugui to send the CEO of WARMA on a compulsory leave pending investigations," he said.
He further urged the DPP, Mr Noordin Haji to charged both WARMA CEO and Mr Patel with different counts of murder.
"I call upon the DPP to charge the WARMA CEO and Mr Patel with 46 counts of murder. Lets get serious as a nation," he stated.
