Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria has received mixed reactions after posting on his Facebook page asking for a copy of Baringo Senator's tribute to the family of the late Matiba.
"I have been quite busy lately. Is it possible I missed a tribute to KSN Matiba from the Senator of Baringo? Anyone with a copy," he asked.
This is how his followers reacted.
Peter Ouma Ojung'a said;"I missed your tribute on Chris Musando, Baby Pendo!! Did you?,"
Nancy Muthoni said: "Nothing from him....do you think he can if the father till now no words from him?"
"I didn't think of Gideon in bad light but his father, just like Uhuru distanced himself with looting and land grabbing done by his father, Gideon can't carry the crimes of elderly Moi for killing Matiba," Thiong'o wa Gichuhi noted.
Naff Bwooom said, "Even those who killed Msando are following your funeral attendees and are ready to come and shed crocodile tears.How do we deal with them? BABA GIVE US A SIGNAL,"Jactone Juma posted.
Ardenna Akaen said;"This doesn't matter but the art of forgiveness is what matter most, and in any way Matiba did that before likewise to Moi when he handed over power in 2002."
"If I was Senator Moi this was the best time to redeem himself n remove that otherwise black cloud during his tenure. To apologise to all former detainees n tell them 'nothing personal just business,"Joseph Jacob said.
On the other hand, reports in the local media outlets have it that Kenneth Matiba's body will be cremated at the Lang’ata crematorium in Nairobi on Friday.
