Gatundu South Member of Parliament Moses Kuria on Saturday visited Opposition Leader Raila Odinga's stronghold of HOma Bay County.
Speaking after the visit, Kuria noted that he was pleased to have been part of the event.
"It was a great pleasure joining Hon Gladys Wanga, Rangwe MP Dr Lillian Gogo, my good friend Hon Eng Phillip Okundi and the Christians of SDA Kodienya Church, Rangwe, Homa Bay County for a service and fundraising. Thank you Jo'Kochia. Let us continue building bridges of unity and understanding," he posted on his Facebook page.
Meanwhile, the MP was earlier in the day forced to make an emergency landing after experiencing bad weather in the area.
"Bad weather forced Rangwe MP Hon Lillian Gogo and myself to land in Karachuonyo en route to Rangwe but the hospitality and warmth of Jakarachuonyo made that irrelevant," Kuria noted.
The Vice Chair of the Transport Committee in the National Assembly had announced his much anticipated visit to the area during the week.
"Next Saturday 14th April 2018, at the invitation of Rangwe MP Hon Lillian Gogo and Homa Bay Women Rep Gladys Wanga, I will be the chief guest at a fundraiser for Odienya SDA Church Rangwe Constituency," he said.
"As the Vice Chair of the Transport Committee in the National Assembly, I will take the opportunity to tour the proposed site of the Nyaburu-Oboke-Rangwe Road whose tarmacking we hope to start in May. Karibuni nyote tufanye kazi ya Mungu na tutumikie watu wake,' he added.
