Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria has hailed Thika United after they beat Bandari Fc 1-0 to remain in the Kenya Premier League.
The Nicholas Muyoti side badly needed the win in order to avoid a looming relegation situation and the Saturday victory couldn't have been any better.
However, Kuria, known mostly for his political side said the milkmen will win next seasons league title.
"Congratulations Thika United for retaining your place in the Kenya Premier League after beating Bandari 1-0.Next year we're winning the premier league, make no mistake", he posted on his Facebook account on Saturday.
Gor Mahia were crowned champions with 74 points while Sofapaka were second with 56 points.On the other end, Muhoroni Youth and Western Stima were relegated into the National Super League.
