Gatundu South Member of Parliament Moses Kuria has revealed his decision who will be his favourite NASA candidate when parliament votes for the East African Legislative Assembly (EALA) nominees.
Kuria on Thursday 7 said that he would expressly vote for Kennedy Kalonzo, son to Wiper Party leader and NASA co-principal Kalonzo Musyoka.
However, Kuria noted that he would shut down aspirations of former Bondo MP Oburu Odinga.
“I would like to reiterate my commitment to ensure that Mr Kennedy Musyoka is voted in as a member of the East African Legislative Assembly (EALA),” Moses Kuria wrote on his Facebook page.
He added; “Equally my commitment to ensure that Oburu Odinga's name is rejected remains solid.”
Oburu Odinga, Kennedy Kalonzo, NASA coalition’s CEO Norman Magaya, Fatuma Ibrahim, Winfred Mutua and Ms Jane Marwa have been nominated by NASA to EALA posts.
Others are Balambala Mp Abdikadir Aden, ODM Women’s League national chairperson Beth Mutunga, former EALA member Abubakar Zain, Loy Mwandi Maviala, Ms Angela Munyasia, Justus Mochoge and Ms Winfred Mutua.
Jubilee nominated former Interior PS Mutea Iringo, former Clerk of the National Assembly Justin Bundi, Eala member Abubakar Ogle, former Kamukunji MP Simon Mbugua and former Mandera North MP Mohammed Adan Nooru.
