Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria is set to visit Opposition leader Raila Odinga's stronghold region on Saturday 14th April for the first time since the October repeat presidential elections.
Mr Kuria's visit, on invitation by Rangwe MP Hon Lillian Gogo and Homa Bay Woman Rep Gladys Wanga, will involve a fundraising at Odienya SDA Church in Rangwe constituency.
"Next Saturday 14th April 2018, at the invitation of Rangwe MP Hon Lillian Gogo and Homa Bay Women Rep Gladys Wanga, I will be the chief guest at a fundraiser for Odienya SDA Church Rangwe Constituency," Kuria posted on his official Facebook page.
Kuria further noted that as the Vice Chair of the Transport Committee in the National Assembly, he will get an opportunity to tour the proposed Nyaburu-Oboke-Rangwe Road to which he said tarmacking will commence on May.
"I will take the opportunity to tour the proposed site of the Nyaburu-Oboke-Rangwe Road whose tarmarcking we hope to start in May. Karibuni nyote tufanye kazi ya Mungu na tutumikie watu wake," he said.
The new development comes after President Uhuru Kenyatta and former Prime Minister Raila Odinga signed a unity pact to end political instability in the country.
