Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria has unveiled two Kenyan players who will be participating in the Russia World Cup starting on June 14.

The outspoken Jubilee legislator took the message to his official Facebook account, where he revealed the two players who were lucky to join the rest of the world in Russia.

"Did you know there will be only two Kenyan players at the World Cup in Russia next week? Well, meet Myles Muriuki and Jadidi Ndambuki, both of them 12 years old students from Parklands Baptist Primary School," posted Kuria.

Moses Kuria further revealed that the two were selected to join more than two hundred participants who will be participating in 'Football For Friendship', one of the curtain raisers for Russia 2018.

"They have been selected to join 200 other players who will participate in 'Football For Friendship' , one of the official curtain raisers for Russia 2018 proudly sponsored by oil giants Gazprom," continued Kuria.

The two who were flagged off by CS Sports and Heritage Rashid Echesa with Kuria were tasked to carry the burden and pride of the nation.

"And today I joined Sports & Heritage CS Rashid Echesa in flagging off Myles and Jadidi and wishing them well as they carry the burden and pride of the nation on their shoulders," read Moses Kuria's post.

The Russia 2018 World Cup is set to attract millions across the world as this is the most competitive tournament.

The various countries have also unveiled their players who will be participating in the long-awaited competition.
