The Gatundu South Member of Parliament, Moses Kuria, on Sunday sent a message to Kenyan opposition political leaders telling them that they can end Kenya's problem if they want to.
The controversial political leader who was part of the entourage that had accompanied the vice president, William Ruto to the coastal region expressed the need for unity in the country.
According to the legislator, political leaders are the reason behind the problems experienced by Kenyans.
Speaking on Sunday at ACK St. Barnabas church in Taita-Taveta County, Mr. Kuria said leaders can learn one thing from the Raila-Uhuru pact and bring to an end the problems facing the country.
"Let us learn one thing from this one thing we have been talking about. We have seen and it has been revealed that the problem of Kenyans is not Kenyans themselves. The problems of Kenyans are we leaders right?'' Kuria posed.
Mr. Kuria continued with his advice to the leaders.
"If a 2-minute handshake can make Aisha Jumwa and me who have been hand-tied as I defend Uhuru and she defends Raila but we have come together and now speaking the same language.
It shows that we leaders can end this country's problems if we want to," the MP concluded.
The Gatundu South Member of Parliament has been known for his negative political rhetoric especially when addressing the opposition leaders was yesterday a different man altogether at ACK St. Barnabas church.
