The National Super Alliance (Nasa) co-principal Moses Wetangula on Monday met with U.S Ambassador to Kenya Robert Godec.
According to Wetangula's Ford Kenya party, Godec paid him a courtesy call in his senate office.
The party however did not reveal what the Bungoma senator and the American envoy discussed.
Godec has in many occasions been accused by the opposition team of siding with President Uhuru Kenyatta's Jubilee party.
The diplomat recently asked NASA to stop politicking since the season of politics was over and urged them to rally behind Uhuru. NASA has however insisted that Opposition leader Raila Odinga must be sworn-in as the People's president.
