The National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA) has released a list of roads where accidents occur frequently.
In its half a year report released on Thursday, NTSA said most accidents occur at around 8pm.
Friday, Saturday and Sunday have been noted as the most notorious days.
NTSA chairman Lee Kinyanjui said 2NK, Narok line and Neno Sacco are the most notorious passenger service vehicle saccos.
Private car owners cause most accidents, with motorcycles recording highest rise in fatalities, according to NTSA.
Nairobi had the highest number of fatal road accidents.
Thika Road experienced the highest number of accidents, followed by Mombasa Road, Waiyaki Way, Eastern Bypass, Kangundo Road and Jogoo Road.
The authority also said most road carnage victims are aged between 20-46 years.
“CS Transport & Infrastructure has ordered an audit on the Salgaa section to enable the correct measures to curb the carnage on the area,” NTSA posted on Twitter.
