Moi University Students Organization's (MUSO) Secretary General Moses Tisa is no doubt one of the most influential students at the Kesses-based institution. His landslide victory during the 31st MUSO election did not, therefore, come as a surprise.

A few weeks ago he trended on social media after expressing his emotional frustration over the just concluded 74 days lecturers' strike through a press statement on a top national TV station. It is during the issuance of the statement that he used a word that has been adopted by most people including HOT 96's top radio presenter Jalang'o; the word being 'Opugnancy'.

His move to lead a peaceful demonstration of students in an effort to bring the strike to an end touched many. It even attracted the attention of top media stations in the country.

He is a very opinionated man and expresses his thoughts with passion. His speech is always characterized by deep descriptive words that carry a strong message. His fearless nature especially in addressing top leaders like Amb. Amina Mohamed, the Education Cabinet Secretary makes him outstanding.

Politics is his game, and he understands it fully both from the university to the national level. He is a political analyst and before he rose to be the Secretary General he was a commentary on blogs.

It is his humility and free interaction with the students that have won him the love of many. He definitely possesses all the ingredients of a true leader and politician.

Remember Babu Owino rose from such a position to become a Member of Parliament and with his political skills, Moses Tisa has a spot on Kenya's future General Election.
