Over 100 public schools in Kisumu County have no title deeds, Kisumu City Residents chairman Audi Ogada has said.
Ogada said most of the public schools title deeds are missing at the Kisumu Land registrar.
"Some of the private developers have grabbed public land even here in Kisumu," said Ogada.
Recently, Milimani ward representative Edwin Anayo had on his Facebook page raised an alarm that part of Victoria primary school had been grabbed.
Ogada said that he will lead the headteacher in identifying the site where the primary school had been grabbed.
He urged Governor Jack Ranguma to take stern action and bring to book the individuals behind land grabbing in Kisumu County.
