Kisii government has been urged to complete development projects it started at Moticho Ward, South Mugirango Constituency to benefit area residents.
Speaking on Wednesday during an Education Day at the District Education Office headquarters, the residents they said that the county has been slow in completing projects in the ward, hence denying them the fruits of devolution.
Their spokesman, Wycliffe Motagaro, said that the road repairs which were started in 2013 are yet to be completed.
He cited the Ruma–Nyasembe Road which is now in a very bad state especially when it rains and needs urgent attention.
“We are urging the county government to complete projects so that we can enjoy the fruits of devolution,” said Motagaro.
As regards education, the residents accused the government of failing to complete the construction of Early Childhood Development Education classes at Nyabiosi and Isara.
They now want the county to speed up the process for the sake of the children.
Area Member of County Assembly Moticho Ward Evans Mokora has urged the county to speed up the completion of the projects to benefit mwanaichi.
