Motorists plying Suneka-Riana-Asumbi road are lamenting over the bad state of the road.
The motorists have expressed their anger to the area MP John Opore for failing to repair the road.
According to the motorists and residents, the road was last repaired before the 2007 election and to date nothing has been done.
"Political cartels lead by Opore are out to benefit from this menace. Opore keeps on lying to us about the road will be repaired only his promises have been in vain. Opore has failed to develop even his home roads at Riana center. Bonchari should vote for another candidate in 2017 polls to change the development of the area," said Cyrus Manoti.
Geoffrey Ochwang' noted that it take motorists more than 2 hours to drive from Nyamira shopping center to Suneka due to the bad roads.
He urged locals to vote out Opore who has given false promises for the 15 years he has been in office.
"During rains, motorbikes and matatus plying the route to Asumbi teachers college are forced to use alternatives ones to reach their destination. Our MP seems to be very comfortable about the situation but we have already decided in 2017 he will go home," said Jennifer Kemunto a trader at Riana center.
