Kithimani junction in Yatta sub-county is a busy road and drivers plying on this road should always exercise caution as they approach the area in a bid to avert accidents.
This was said by Yatta OCPD Edward Kipsang Changach while confirming an accident that happened at 8am in Kithimani petrol station along Thika-Garrissa road that involved two saloon cars.
The driver of the saloon car coming from Mwingi tried to overtake only for him to ram on the one coming from heading to Matuu from Kithimani.
The passengers in both vehicles escaped without injuries but the saloon car driver sustained a fracture on his right arm where he was rushed to Matuu level four hospital for treatment.
"No passenger got hurt only one driver sustained a fracture on his right hand but he was rushed to the hospital for treatment," said Changach.
