A section of leaders from Mount Kenya region has hit out at veteran opposition leader Raila Odinga over his insistence on taking the oath of office.They dared him to make good on his swearing-in threat, saying that he would suffer the dire consequences.Speaking at the burial of Ruguru MCA Peter Weru, the leaders also fired a series of warnings at County Assemblies that had embraced the People's Assembly motion.''We will give him the Bible as he wishes so that he can take the oath. Choices have consequences.'' Kieni MP Kanini Kega said according to a story by the Daily Nation.The Kenyan government had warned that stern action would be taken against Odinga if he made good on his swearing-in threat, which it has deemed treasonable.
