Mourners who attended the burial ceremony of the former North Mugirango Borabu MP Godfrey Masanya have condemned the act of politicians of buying liquor for youths.

"We strongly condemn the acts of this politicians who are buying liquor for our youths to disrupt the send off ceremony of our beloved MP," said a group of elders who were mourning.

The ceremony turned chaotic when a group of youths believed to have been bought liquor by the incumbent Member of Parliament caused some fracas, in the presence of county leaders.

The sources say that the incumbent MP Charles Geni feared the presence of county assembly speaker Joash Nyamoko, who is aspiring for the sit of North Mugirango.

"Our MP bought liquor to this young men in order to disrupt this ceremony for the fear of his competitor Joash Nyamoko," said an old woman.
