According to Kisii political activist Hillary Oteri, Jubilee party and its way of conducting business will allow him to grow and his leadership qualities would favor him when in Jubilee.

He argues that Namwamba’s way of leadership involves peaceful constitutional and non-violent politics which he says are contrary to Cord.

He said Cord thrives well in pull-me politics and are good at pushing their point home and would not relent.

He said Namwamba is a peaceful leader who prefers dialogue and tabling things for discussion, unlike other Cord principals.

He says Jubilee as a party will offer him that and that the move to ditch ODM is a wise move and it will see him grow politically unlike in Cord where he will have no ‘actual’ place for ‘active’ politics.

“Namwamba, as we saw even during the anti-IEBC demos, is a peaceful leader who would prefer to stay back home if the demos would infringe on people’s right something that saw him lose popularity in the party. The move to ditch ODM is wise and will favor him politically,” he said.
