Kitutu Chache South MP Richard Onyonka has been faulted for giving a raw deal to the people of Bogeka ward.
Bogeka ward MCA Charles Mochoge said the MP has never stepped in the ward to appreciate the support he received from the electorates during the last year's polls.
Mochoge said the state of roads in the ward which should be by the national government is poor and impassable.
"Nyonsia - Ikenye, Nyonsia-Matongo, and Ikenye-Egentonto roads are in a poor state and the MP has kept quiet about it after he promised to murram the roads to ease transportation. We are regretting that the MP has failed to fulfill his pledges as he promised so that locals who are mostly farmers can transport their farm products to the market to sell and earn income," he said.
Mochoge urged Onyonka to move with speed and allocate CDF funds to upgrade the roads failure to which he will mobilise the locals to protest over his poor performance.
The ODM party MCA assured residents that feeder roads which are under the county shall be opened up by the Kisii County government.
He called on residents to embrace patience as he works on the various road and water projects in the ward.
"There are several road and water projects I am currently working on. Once the county allocates funds the tenders will be advertised so that work can start immediately," he said.
