Motonu added that the MP has never carried projects that can have a long-term impact on the residents but those that benefit them for a week.

Speaking at Ekerorano where he was addressing a number of residents on Monday the MCA said that the MP was misusing the funds to gain political mileage which is against the will of the current constitution.

“The funds belong to the public, therefore, they should be consulted before being used in any project that matters to them and the MP should ensure that he stops that or we use our influence to support another productive leader,” he added.

The MCA also called upon the residents to ensure that they vote out leaders who have self-interest and ensure they vote it development oriented ones.
