Matungulu Member of Parliament Stephen Mule has issued a stern warning to the education board of Matungulu constituency for missing out in most education meetings.
Speaking at King'oti primary school during the commissioning of two classrooms build through CDF money, Mule pointed out that the education board has been sleeping on its job, something which he said he will not tolerate.
"I have received complaints from parents and several headteachers that the education board doesn't attend education meetings and this has to stop with immediate effect. For instance, there is no one from the education board and I am commissioning classrooms, they must do their job I will not tolerate laziness," said Mule.
Mule further pointed out that he has summoned the education board to clarify as to why they have been skipping education meetings within 14 days failure to which he will write to the county education board to disband the Matungulu education board.
"I have summoned the education board within 14 days days to come up with an explanation failure to that I will write to the county education board to have them disbanded," added Mule.
Mule further urged parents to partner with teachers to improve education in Matungulu.
