Gem MP Jakoyo Midiwo has faulted President Uhuru Kenyatta over his silence on the ongoing doctors strike.
Speaking during NTV's Am Live show, Midiwo accused the Jubilee administration of neglecting duty saying the President has not fulfilled his constitutional obligations to the country.
“Jubilee is wrong to be absent when leadership is needed. The President is lazy. He is absent," Midiwo said.
Mr Midiwo said the constitution should be amended so that families of victims affected by health workers strike sue the government for compensation.
“We must wake up this President. He has six months to go,” he added.
