On Monday, while speaking at Suneka the residents faulted the former MP for embezzling CDF funds meant for development.

“We don’t want the same mistake to happen in the current MP’s tenure. Older projects such as the stalled Miranga Youth Polytechnic must be completed before new projects will be launched,” said Nelson Ombui.

Ombui said the former CDF chairman Erick Oigo and a polician Isaac Onchagwa who was committee member squandered money meant for bursaries for secondary and college students.

“No money was disbursed as bursary yet the money was said to have been released. We know who should be held accountable and our MP should not leave anything to chance,” he added.

Paul Nyakundi, a resident of Nyamiobo accused the former MP of failing to complete the drilling of Nyamiobo water borehole.

“Documents showed that Nyamiobo borehole was allocated Sh82 million in the 2016/2017 but the drilling was not done. Oyioka should ensure the project is completed and follow up how the million of shillings was used, in the previous tenure” said Nyakundi.
