Thika Town MP Alice Ng'ang'a has condemned Kiambu Governor William Kabogo due to what she has said is perpetuating regional leadership imbalance in the county.
Ng'ang'a, a harsh critic of the governor accused him of concentrating all the leadership in Ruiru Sub-County where he comes from.
"Here in Kiambu County, when we said we wanted devolution, we meant everywhere", Nganga said.
She added: "We want equality in Kiambu because as for now, all the county leadership comes from Ruiru. The Governor, the Speaker and the Majority Leader are all from Ruiru."
She said that all Kiambu county electorates voted the same way and therefore there is a need to spread out the leadership to other regions in the county.
The legislator was speaking while issuing cheques to more than 280 needy students at Thika town Thursday. The legislator promised more developments in her constituency among them being provision of enough water to the residents.
