Kiambaa MP Paul Koinange has called on President Uhuru Kenyatta to take action against government officials implicated in graft.
Speaking at his office yesterday, he stated that corruption is back and continues to taint the image of the government negatively.
The MP said “Those implicated in corruption must be dealt with,” he said, adding that government agencies mandated to fight corruption must work tirelessly and fight it.
He observed that Kenyans are getting concerned over corruption scandals in the government.
The MP noted that development will never be realised if corruption is tolerated in government and the society in general.
The legislator at the same time called for unity among parties affiliated to the Jubilee Alliance Party (JAP). He said that the newly formed party must remain united to have an impact in the 2017 general election.
He said asked leaders of affiliated parties to support JAP saying that it is the party that has a true face of Kenya.
“For JAP to win the 2017 General Elections, affiliated parties must provide support,” he said. The Kiambaa legislator further called on JAP leaders to start popularising the party to Kenyans across the country.
He said time is tickling very first and that they must use the opportunity to sell the party agenda to Kenyans.
