Speaking to the press on Saturday morning in Kisii town, Nyaribari Masaba MP Elijah Moindi said terrorists are widely spread and therefore urged residents to exercise caution.

Moindi also asked the security officers to take charge in gatherings like schools, churches, markets and supermarkets to minimise cases of attacks.

"I want to tell our people especially in our county, Kisii, that terrorists are everywhere and therefore we must be vigilant and report any weird cases. I also ask the government to tighten security in Kisii University, supermarkets, churches and other places where people congregate for various transactions," he appealed.

The MP pleaded to faithful to remember the less fortunate in the society by supporting them.

Moindi's concern came two days after Al Shabaab militia stormed into Garissa University College and killed 152 students while leaving 102 others with bullet injuries in the Thursday morning attack.
