Jubilee politicians in Mombasa have continued with their onslaught on Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho and his leadership for allegedly failing the residents of Mombasa.

Speaking at Ganjoni, Mvita MP aspirant Omar Shallo claimed that under Joho's leadership, Mombasa county has become one of the poorest counties in the country.Shallo claimed that Joho has not initiated any tangible project in the county despite receiving huge allocations from the national government every year.While accusing the Mombasa County Assembly of dancing to the tune of Joho and rubber stamping Joho's 'poor' policies, Shallo asked resident to elect straightforward leaders who cannot be compromised.“It is only the Jubilee government that can save the county from Joho's ill-fated reign which is a mockery to devolution,” said Shallo.The politician further asked residents to support his bid to clinch the Mvita MP seat currently held by ODM's Abdulswamad Sharif Nassir whom he accused of being “Joho's dancing partner in mismanaging the county.”
